Hello, Chicago.

but we will need to wait generations

for a change in Burma’

 ‘Change has come to America’. These were the words uttered by Barack Obama as he addressed the United States for the first time as the president-elect.

 

“Restoration of full democracy cannot happen overnight; it will take generations,” Tomás Ojea Quintana, the United Nations’ Human Rights Envoy for Burma said, adding that it was insufficient for the United Nations to simply issue resolutions on the situation in the Southeast Asian country, instead insisting that resources must also be made available so that the goals of resolutions may be met.
