US anti-kidnapping expert became ‘Man on Fire’

MEXICO CITY, Dec 16 — A US anti-kidnapping expert was abducted by gunmen in northern Mexico last week, a sign of just how bold this nation’s kidnapping gangs have become.

EU envoy Piero Fassino, a former Italian foreign minister, said that a visit by Ban must be “carefully prepared.”
