The pot calling the kettle black, PKR’s information chief Tian Chua demanding_to freeze the permits for foreign workers as a source of cheap labour replacing local labour until the Malaysian economy recovers from the effects of the global slowdown and to resolve the problem of illegal immigrants in Sabah.

Are Malaysian Chinese willing to work as maids, toilet cleaners, factory workers, labourers to replace the foreign workers? I don’t think so. They even do not want to work as clinic nurses!

JERUSALEM, Jan 8 – Lebanese militants fired at least three rockets into northern Israel early today, threatening to open a second front for the Jewish state as it pushed forward with its offensive in the Gaza Strip.

Gaza militants fired a rocket barrage into southern Israel almost simultaneously.

There were no serious injuries in either attack. But the rockets on Israel’s north raised the spectre of renewed hostilities with Hezbollah, just 2 1/2 years after Israel battled the guerrilla group to a 34-day stalemate.

Just call me San Oo Aung @ Dr Zafar Shah. I blogged here. I was born in Yangon (Rangoon) Burma, Myanmar, graduated as a Medical Doctor from Rangoon Medical University I. I left Burma with the heavy heart in 1990 after military brutally suppressed the 8888 people’s revolution. As I already got the job offer with the USM, Government Medical University in the east coast of Malaysia, I have no much difficulty to struggle but need to do locums or moonlightings at private clinics at my free time to cover the education fees of my five children.
