There is no hope to solve the Palestine refugees, Burmese refugees and various refugees’ problems around the world

There is no hope to solve the Palestine refugees,

Burmese refugees and various refugees’ problems around the world

According to the 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees, “a refugee is a person, who owing to a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion, is outside the country of his nationality, and is unable to or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to avail himself of the protection of that country”.

It is very difficult to clearly differentiate the real refugees from the so-called economic migrants.  There is a very thin and faint line between these two categories.

I think UNHCR and its Chin translators are knowing assisting the 99.99% of Chins who were bluffing lying and pretending to be victims of prosecution. Most of them are economic migrants just want to be settled in developed countries.

Gaza (Arabic: غزةtransliteration: Ġazza, Hebrew: עַזָּה‎, ʕazzā) is the largest city in the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian Territories. It has a population of approximately 410,000 in the inner city and 1.5 million people in the metropolitan area.[1] The word “Gaza” is often used to refer to the entire Gaza Strip, so the city is frequently termed “Gaza City” for clarity.

New Era College senate head punched at convocation

KAJANG: What started out as a happy event turned chaotic at the New Era College convocation.

A man went up to the stage as college senate chairman Dr Yap Sin Tian was giving a speech and punched him in the face in front of 500 people, including students, parents and guests. However, the attacker managed to flee the scene.

Dr Yap, who is Dong Zong (the United Chinese School Committees Association of Malaysia) president, was ushered to a seat with a fractured cheekbone and nose. An ambulance arrived later to send him to the Kajang Specialist Hospital.

College principal Mok Soon Choong took over the podium to continue the speech and calmed the situation.

Witnesses said the attacker wore a shirt used by members of a fund-raising event in the college. The man has been identified as a former college graduate.

Dong Jiao Zong Education Centre directors, who were seated near the stage, tried to catch him but he managed to escape.

It is unclear if the attack is linked to an ongoing squabble between Dr Yap and the college’s former principal Dr Kua Kia Soong.

Dr Yap had supported Dong Zong when it did not extend Dr Kua’s contract which expired in December.

Secular just Rule of Law is the best for all

Secular just Rule of Law is the best for all

JAN 12 – I am sympathetic to the Pakatan Rakyat. I helped one of their candidates during the last general elections and I often hang around with people from Pakatan. That does not mean, however, that I need to agree with every little thing the component parties of the Pakatan do.

I, for one, categorically oppose implementation of hudud as it is currently being proposed and, indeed, the imposition of any religious ideal upon free individuals.

Furore continues despite Harry’s ‘sorry’

   Furore continues despite Harry’s ‘sorry’

Comment: We need to praise the Royalties, British government and police for the professionally handling the case. In some democratically immature ASEAN countries, the typical response to this kind of exposure may be totally different. Police and top politicians will threaten the person, whistle blower with the intimidating words. They will haul up the person to the police station. They will demand the original tape or film or CD etc. They will charge the whistle blower with criminal defamation, sedition, electronic and multimedia act etc. They will ask him to reveal the culprit who recorded the incidence. Once, AG even destroyed all the evidences.

LONDON, Jan 12 – Prince Harry is “guilty of racism which upsets and offends many British Asians,” the leader of a Muslim youth organisation said today.

The Royal has also been condemned by senior politicians, who said that his remarks about an Army colleague were “offensive”.

David Cameron, the Conservative leader, said the Prince’s reference to an Asian member of his platoon as “our little Paki friend” was “obviously completely unacceptable.” Nick Clegg, the leader of the Liberal Democrats, said the remarks, caught on camera, “will have caused considerable offence”.

St James Palace has said Harry – third in line to the throne – was using a nickname for a friend and the comment was made without any malice. An apology from the prince was issued last night.

All the Muslim leaders, OIC leaders are useless.

Gaza is burning and Gazans are dying, 99% of them Muslims. Egypt keeps its’ blockage of Gaza and supports Israel silently while the Arab world utter some weak squeals from their harems amidst the beauties of world. Who cares for Gaza, when the oil prices are dropping like hell and the sustenance of the luxuries are at stake?
