Malaysia’s Birthday ‘Gift’ to Aung San Suu Kyi – Shame on you…Malaysia!

Malaysia’s Birthday ‘Gift’ to Aung San Suu Kyi –

Shame on you…Malaysia!

How embarrassing…

Malaysian police must really be educated about Burma – and how the peoples of Burma have been denied the right to be governed by their democratically elected leaders by an evil military regime, that has ruled since 1962.

Of course, persons forced to leave by reason of an oppressive military regime is not able to go an get ‘passports’ and visas – If they do, many fear being arrested, detained, tortured….

Hence, it is an ‘internationally’ shameful fact that Malaysian police chose to arrest 15 Burmese at a celebration of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s 64th birthday celebration in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

Suhakam, do we need to wait dozens of years till you got some teeth?

human trafficking tip report 131607 parading prostitute The Malaysian Human Rights Commission (Suhakam) has expressed regret over the US State Department report which blacklisted Malaysia for failing to deal with its human trafficking problem.

In a statement, Suhakam commissioner, Dr Raj Abdul Karim, said the authors of the report could not expect overnight results from the 18-month-old Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act (ATIP).

She adds that human trafficking is a complicated problem involving a wide range of stakeholders and actors in the trafficking chain.

Open letter to KJ, head of UMNO Youth

Assalamualaikum WRT

Dear KJ,

I had written about five letters to you few years ago using snail mail and even sent a get-well soon card when you were injured.

TQ for your protest at Myanmar Embassy and for writing the above letter.

Could you kindly check the results of UMNO Youth delegates sent to Myanmar after Anti-Muslim Riots instigated by the Myanmar Military Intelligence Unit. Datuk Zahid Hamidi was the leader who wrongly declared that he just came back from Myanmar, nothing wrong, all in peaceful condition.

Obama walks a fineline with China and Asean

Obama walks a fineline with China and Asean

Under the Bush-Cheney leadership, the United States was engaged in military conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan, while taking a confrontational stance towards others such as North Korea, Iran and Myanmar.

Overall, Washington achieved virtually no positive results from these policies, prompting a US journalist to comment that “the more these people love our pop culture and Hollywood, the more they hate our political leaders”.

One country that benefited from the US’ policy of containment is China, as the regional giant seized the opportunity to forge close political, military and economic ties with Myanmar.

Denial usually leads to coverup or protecting the criminals

and will be seen by the world as abetting the perpetrators

I refer to the Malaysiakini report , Malaysia blacklisted for human trafficking.

This report is yet another reason why the government has to crack down on corruption within its enforcement agencies.

For a long time now Malaysians have been aware of the immigration rort and its involvement in human trafficking and the public has been informed through media reports and blogs. Even Rela has been implicated yet the government seems reluctant to arrest the problem with the same gusto it sends its police to crack down on dissidents.

16 Burmese held at Pakatan b’day bash for Suu Kyi

2345: 14 of them have been brought to the Kelana Jaya lock-up.

2334: Blog reader anony-mouse reports:

I had great piece of cake…! Tian was at the police station too. Irene Fernandez was in a car that came by the station twice, but did not alight.

2228: Of the 16, three have been freed because they have documents. Five are undocumented; so if they don’t get UNHCR registration pronto, they could be deported. The remaining are all registered with the UNHCR as refugees; so they should be all right.

Malaysian Police are providing proofs that

US allegations of Human Rights abuses on refugees are correct

THEY SEEMS TO BE WORSE THAN MYANMAR POLICE as Myanmar police at least allow to celebrate at the NLD HQ. Here prtesting infront of US embassy against Israel and supporting Palestines only is allowed. At least Myanmar opposition is not killing any one like those terrorists.

One day after Malaysia was named the world’s worst place for refugees, the police have tonight ensured that the country will continue to remain in the rogues’ gallery.

A team of 50 police officers broke up a gathering in Petaling Jaya to celebrate Burma’s Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi’s 64th birthday at about 9pm and detained 16 people.

Those arrested are believed to be refugees from Burma who were at the birthday celebration to express their concern for their country’s democracy icon.
