Al Jazeera:UN releases Gaza attack photos

The United Nations has released images of what it believes are white phosphorus munitions raining down on one of its compounds during Israel’s war on Gaza.

The pictures, broadcast by Al Jazeera on Thursday, show what appears to be flame-generating munitons, thought to be white phosphorus “wedges”, falling into a UN compound in Gaza where hundreds of people were sheltering.

JAN 19 – On Saturday evening, Israel announced not a ceasefire – in the sense of an agreement between the parties to end a conflict – but a decision that its forces will unilaterally halt their fire. It said it would await the Hamas response, any timetable for a withdrawal of Israeli forces being contingent on an end to rocket fire from Gaza.

Jews against Zionism

By:BUNN NAGARA

from:thestaronlinenews

Some religious Jews also reject an immoral, outlaw Israel in the name of their religion.

AMONG the many religious Jewish groups that reject today’s Israel and its Zionist basis are Satmar, Dushinski and Neturei Karta (NK, or “Guardians of the City/Faith”).

Cohen: ‘Any form of unjust violence is terrorism, whether state-sponsored or otherwise, and must be stopped.’

Israelis should understand that Persecuting people does not weaken them or destroy them but gave them the impetus to survive and toughened

JAN 17 — There’s a memorable scene in the Stephen Spielberg film “Munich”. After the 1972 Munich Olympic Games killings of Israeli athletes, Prime Minister Golda Meir tells confidants she wants to show the plotters that killing Jews “is expensive”. She then organises for the assassination of each of the plotters.

Today, it is Israel itself that has become expensive. Most directly, it is very expensive to the US, which subsidises and arms it.

But Israel’s utter inability to transform the Palestinians from enemies into friends has imposed big costs on us all. We have paid for Israel’s failure with bombs on London public transport, bombs in bars in Bali, and even the loss of the World Trade Centre towers in New York.

Still Breathing

from:freegaza.org/Written by Caoimhe Butterly

The morgues of Gaza’s hospitals are over-flowing. The bodies- in their blood-soaked white shrouds- cover the entire floor space of the Shifa’a hospital’s morgue. Some are intact, most horribly deformed, limbs twisted into unnatural positions, chest cavities exposed, heads blown off, skulls crushed in. Family members wait outside to identify and claim a brother, husband, father, mother, wife, child. Many of those who wait their turn have lost numerous family members and loved ones.

COMMENT: Egypt CLOSED THE BORDER TO TRAP THE PALESTINE MUSLIMS. WHY STOP THE REPORTERS FROM ENTERING AT THEIR OWN RISK TO REVEAL THE ATROCITIES OF ISRAEL.

Egypt is accepting HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF USD from USA JUST TO TO SUPPORT ISRAEL?

GAZA is a very difficult conflict to cover because journalists are basically shut out and banned from entering the area.( BOTH BY THE ISRAEL AND THEIR CLOSED FRIEND, EGYPT)

Egypt reseals Gaza border breach

Egyptian troops have sealed the border with the Gaza Strip, ending 12 days of freedom of movement for Palestinians.

The troops are still allowing Palestinians and Egyptians to return home, but have stopped allowing any new cross-border movement.

The border was breached when Hamas militants blew up sections of the wall to break Israel’s seven-month blockade.

An estimated half of Gaza’s 1.5m population took the opportunity to cross into Egypt and buy supplies.

A statement on Israel by Professor Richard Falk, Princeton University, New Jersey, USA

A statement on Israel by Professor Richard Falk, Princeton University, New Jersey, USA

STATEMENT OF SPECIAL RAPORTEUR FOR THE PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES OCCUPIED SINCE 1967 FOR PRESENTATION TO THE SPECIAL SESSION OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL ON GAZA, 9 JANUARY 2009

1. This statement focuses on the impact of Israel’s continuing Gaza military campaign, initiated on 27 December 2008, on the humanitarian situation confronting the 1.5 million Palestinians confined to the Gaza Strip. In accordance with the undertaking of the mandate, it confines its comments to issues associated with Israel’s obligations as occupying power to respect international humanitarian law (IHL), which refers mainly to the legal obligations contained in the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949, which sets forth in some detail the legal duties of Israel as the occupying power. The essential obligations of IHL are also considered to be binding legal duties embedded in customary international law. This statement touches on issues of international human rights law (IHR), as well as the implications of severe and sustained violations of either IHL or IHR as raising issues of international criminal law (ICL). It is also necessary to assess the underlying Israeli security claims that the military incursion into Gaza was a ‘defensive’ operation consistent with international law and the United Nations Charter, and that no ‘humanitarian crisis’ existed making the scale and nature of the military force used allegedly ‘excessive’ and ‘disproportionate.’

Ignorant Americans are paying for Israel’s war crimes in-spite of gloomy economy

Ignorant Americans are paying for Israel’s war crimes

in-spite of  gloomy economy

Maybe, just maybe, its the policies that are all screwed up. And that means looking at the top. A nation raised on the fear of the holocaust, all ready to fight. Winning votes by being victorious in war crimes.

U.S. seeks ship to move arms to Israel
The U.S. is seeking to hire a merchant ship to deliver hundreds of tons of arms to Israel from Greece later this month, tender documents seen by Reuters show.

The U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command (MSC) said the ship was to carry 325 standard 20-foot containers of what is listed as “ammunition” on two separate journeys from the Greek port of Astakos to the Israeli port of Ashdod in mid-to-late January.
A “hazardous material” designation on the manifest mentions explosive substances and detonators, but no other details were given.

“Shipping 3,000-odd tons of ammunition in one go is a lot,” one broker said, on condition of anonymity.

Americans, YOU are paying for all this stuff, at a time when 11 million of you have lost your jobs, and one out of every ten of you will lose your homes this year.
