South Africa accuses Israel Navy of killing hundreds of Palestinian boat people from Gaza

South Africa accuses Israel Navy of killing hundreds of Palestinian boat people from Gaza

WARNING: Readers must read the lower part of this news/article to understand the truth. Those reading the upper part only and failed to continue could be mislead or miss the real message.

Cape town, South Africa(AFP) — South Africa said Sunday that hundreds of people were missing at sea, believed to be part of a wave of Palestinian  boat people from Gaza were allegedly dragged out to the middle of the ocean by Israel Navy and left to die.
Israel has denied the accusations, but accounts of survivors and the latest reports from the South Africa coast guard have piled the pressure on Tel-Avid, and the Israel government said it would meet rights groups on Monday.

The Israel navy is accused of detaining the migrants, Palestinian  boat people from Gaza, after they washed up on the Israel coast — and then towing them to sea and leaving them to their fate.

South Africa’s coast guard said Sunday it had rescued hundreds of the refugees from the Palestinian, Gaza, but that hundreds more were feared lost.

“These are really serious allegations that need to be investigated by the UN and the Israel government,” he said…………………

Ignorant Americans are paying for Israel’s war crimes in-spite of gloomy economy

Ignorant Americans are paying for Israel’s war crimes

in-spite of  gloomy economy

Maybe, just maybe, its the policies that are all screwed up. And that means looking at the top. A nation raised on the fear of the holocaust, all ready to fight. Winning votes by being victorious in war crimes.

U.S. seeks ship to move arms to Israel
The U.S. is seeking to hire a merchant ship to deliver hundreds of tons of arms to Israel from Greece later this month, tender documents seen by Reuters show.

The U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command (MSC) said the ship was to carry 325 standard 20-foot containers of what is listed as “ammunition” on two separate journeys from the Greek port of Astakos to the Israeli port of Ashdod in mid-to-late January.
A “hazardous material” designation on the manifest mentions explosive substances and detonators, but no other details were given.

“Shipping 3,000-odd tons of ammunition in one go is a lot,” one broker said, on condition of anonymity.

Americans, YOU are paying for all this stuff, at a time when 11 million of you have lost your jobs, and one out of every ten of you will lose your homes this year.

Responsible Thai generals must be punished for torturing and killing of Imam

Responsible Thai generals must be punished

for torturing and killing of Imam

BANGKOK, Jan 11 – The death of an imam while in army custody last year will present Thailand’s new government with its first test of whether it can deliver justice in the country’s troubled southern provinces.

On Christmas Day, a court in Narathiwat ruled that 56-year-old imam Yapa Kaseng was tortured and killed while being interrogated by soldiers in March.

The body of the Muslim community leader bore evidence of blunt force trauma, including rib fractures. His lungs were punctured, and his body was covered with bruises, and had abrasions on the back.

The death of the imam has gone down as a landmark abuse case. Rarely has anyone been held accountable for deaths in custody a long-held complaint of locals as well as non-governmental organisations and watchdog groups like the New York-based Human Rights Watch (HRW).

Myanmar Muslims prohibited from worshipping in residential flats

Chiang Mai (Mizzima) – Aping a recent diktat against the country’s Christian community, authorities have summoned and warned leaders of Burma’s Muslim community not to worship in residential flats.

Rangoon’s Kyauktada Township Peace and Development Council office, as they did with Christian pastors from the city, summoned Islamic leaders on the 5th of this month and warned them to halt all religious services and the reading of the Quran in residential flats.

It didn’t even dare condemn the Burmese military thugs who rule Burma, whose justice is meted out in the Stalinist/Maoist standard of the end of gun’s barrel.

Just look at how much braver Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines are when compare to M’sia at UNGA voting on 24-12-2008.

China and Russia castrated UNSC with the veto on Zimbabwe sanctions

British and US efforts to apply punitive pressure on Robert Mugabe were abruptly undermined last night when Russia and China vetoed a UN security council resolution seeking sanctions against Zimbabwe.

The resolution, calling for an arms embargo, and financial and travel restrictions on Mugabe and 13 other regime leaders, was backed by nine nations but foundered on the vetoes of the two permanent members. The arms embargo would have affected Russian and Chinese weapons exporters.

The outcome at UN headquarters in New York will raise questions about the international community’s ability to act decisively against Mugabe and his Zanu-PF ringleaders who orchestrated the violence that disfigured Zimbabwe’s election run-off last month. Mugabe was declared the victor after his opponent, Morgan Tsvangirai, pulled out citing the absurdity of holding a vote while dozens of opposition members were being beaten, arrested and killed.

Thugs castrated the UNSC

Impotent and Paralyzed UNSC

can only ‘regret’ Zimbabwe vote,

because

Thugs castrated the UNSC

The Australian

THE UN security council failed to agree on declaring Zimbabwe’s run-off election illegitimate today in the face of South African opposition.

Instead, it merely issued an oral statement of regret over the one-candidate presidential vote.

US Ambassador to the UN Zalmay Khalilzad, who chairs the council this month, said members “agreed that conditions for free and fair elections did not exist and it was a matter of deep regret that the election went ahead in these circumstances”.

The US and its European allies had pushed for adoption of a British-drafted statement that would have stated that the results of today’s election “could have no credibility or legitimacy”.

The Junta’s Criminal Constitution

by Janet Benshoof and U Aung Htoo

 Posted May 5, 2008

Burma’s military dictators now say Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi, under house arrest or in prison for 12 of the past 18 years, can cast her vote in the May 10 constitutional referendum—a bitter irony if ever there was one. Ms. Suu Kyi and her National League for Democracy are calling on voters to reject the military-backed constitution, calling it “undemocratic.” Meanwhile, the U.N. Security Council perpetuates the charade that the referendum is legitimate by asking the ruling junta to respect “fundamental political freedoms” at the polls.

The junta, led by Gen. Than Shwe, continues to deploy torture, rape, forced labor, murder and imprisonment as tools to consolidate its absolute power. Emboldened by impunity, Than Shwe is now trying to transform his rule by crime into a constitutional right by inserting criminal immunity for himself and his cohorts into the constitution. It is beyond discussion that blanket amnesties for all crimes—much less one issued via fiat, by a dictator, for himself—violates international law.

King-Obama’s dream comes true but Oh! Burma is still having Nightmares

King-Obama’s dream comes true

but

Oh! Burma is still having Nightmares

Congratulations Mr Obama for fulfilling the dreams of King or Martin Luther King Jr. We hereby wish that you could benevolently choose Mrs Hillary Clinton to be your Deputy running mate in the coming election.

For Oh! Burma, (or OLD BURMA) we are continuing the unfinished nightmare started by General Ne Win. We hope that there would be a blessing in disguise for our Burmese people. The present cyclone victims’ continuous suffering, SPDC’s blockage, hijacking and siphoning of the International aids combined with economic hardship because of SPDC’s mismanagement and global inflation/recession would fuel the dissatisfaction of Burmese and lead to another final revolt against SPDC and Myanm Military rulers.

nightmare1.jpgAs Mr McCain is the long time friend of Burma and we trusted he would be willing to help Burmese people if we need, we wish to request Mr Obama not to look at the other side and pretend you never see the plight and sufferings of Burmese people. Please don’t leave us, Burma alone Mr Obama.
